GSA Advantage is an online government purchasing platform operated by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). It is designed to allow federal, state, and local government agencies to procure a wide range of products and services from pre-approved vendors. The platform simplifies the procurement process by offering a centralized marketplace with pre-negotiated prices and terms, ensuring that government buyers meet specific regulatory requirements. The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is the largest of 24 Councils of Government (COG) in Texas, and is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. It has been serving local governments for more than 40 years. H GAC’s Cooperative Purchasing Program is known as HGACBuy.
