We’ve written a lot about aluminum repair since launching the Collisionology blog in April. Hopefully, these posts have provided you with the confidence needed to work on the growing number of aluminum-bodied vehicles on the road.

GoWelding.org provides MIG welding guides for a variety of metals. Its aluminum guide covers electrode and gas selection, surface preparation, welder settings and common issues experienced during the welding process.

WeldGuru.com’s in-depth aluminum welding page covers the basics and more. Readers can learn about aluminum production, characteristics and alloy classification before moving on to welding techniques and tips.
The Aluminum Association

The Aluminum Association’s dedicated aluminum vehicle information site includes reports, webinars and statistics about aluminum’s use in cars and trucks.
