Computerized Measuring Training
IACET | CEUs (1.2 Credit Hours)
This 2-day (16-hour) interactive class trains technicians on the most efficient processes for computerized measuring. Technicians learn to operate Chief’s Computerized Measuring Technologies to identify structural misalignment and maximize both repair quality and profitability.
Structural Damage Analysis
IACET | CEUs (1.8)
This comprehensive course features 24-hours of instruction on collision theory, structural damage analysis skills and an understanding of correction procedures. It is designed for the body shop estimator or insurance appraiser.
Note: This course is not designed to teach estimate writing, but is designed to give you a thorough understanding of damage analysis and the procedures necessary for correcting structural misalignment. We recommend one year estimating experience before attending.
The course is a prerequisite to the “Advanced Unitized Body Repair” technician’s class.
ADAS: Introduction to the Technology and Impacts on Collision Repair
In this engaging and interactive course, we will provide you with innovative training on Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS.)
The purpose of this course is to provide foundational knowledge of ADAS technology and some of the requirements technicians must follow when using calibration equipment and performing ADAS calibrations. A high-level overview, this course supplies you with knowledge about Advanced Driver Assist Systems, their components, how the components work, and system requirements. This course will walk you through the manual and automated processes for calibration, as well as how the collision repair workflow has changed to accommodate ADAS technology, and the OEM’s required procedures for accurate and reliable results.
Advanced Frame Analysis
IACET | CEUs (1.3 Credit Hours)
Requirement: All participants MUST complete the Structural Damage Analysis (SDA) Course before enrolling in this course.
This advanced course featuring 16-hours of instruction revisits collision theory and the role it plays in collision damage analysis and repair, but the main focus of this course is structural damage analysis, structural correction and alignment techniques, and repair procedures for experienced body shop technician, estimator or insurance appraiser.
Advanced Steering & Suspension Analysis
IACET | CEUs (1.3 Credit Hours)
Requirement: All participants MUST complete the Structural Damage Analysis (SDA) Course before enrolling in this course.
This 2-day (16 hour) course focuses on steering and suspension as it relates to collision damage. This course addresses an overview of steering and suspension systems, quick checks, how measuring plays a role in determining potential damage, and troubleshooting techniques.
Rotary Authorized Installer (RAI) Training
If you are a Rotary Authorized Installer (RAI) or working to become one, we have a number of training options for you. Our self-paced e-learning option allows you a path to official certification. We also offer periodic in-person training sessions, mostly in our headquarters location in Madison, Indiana. These highly popular hands-on sessions go deep into the operation of vehicle lifts, wheel service, and other shop equipment, helping you and your team become more efficient, more effective, safer, and more profitable.
